Monday morning, 7:15 A.M.
I'd been thinking about that moment in the car all weekend. I swear I didn't leave this bed, like, once. What were Isaac and I now? I guess I would find out...since school starts in 45 minutes. I got up to get ready and left for school. I didn't wait for Isaac's car. I arrived at the school and spotted Jazz and Karen sitting on the steps.
"Hey there, miss ballerina," said Jazz, winking at me. "How you doin'?"
I laughed, "I'm alright."
We talked for awhile as Nic and Dalton walked up behind me. Dalton threw his arms around me as Nic hugged Karen and Jazz.
"Ohmigod, I missed you guys SO much!"
He looped his arm around mine and we skipped into the school.
A few hours later, we were sitting in 5th hour. I was tapping my pencil against my notebook and sighed, waiting for class to be over when I was hit in the head with a paper ball. I picked it up off the floor and unfolded it, reading, 'Why are you in such a funk?'
I took out my purple sparkly pen and wrote, 'I don't believe I know what you're talking about.' I threw it back and glared at her while she read it. Thankfully the bell rang and I hauled ass out of there. I quietly but quickly walked to my locker and found Isaac standing there.
"Hey Liss," he smiled at me, "how're you?"
"I'm great!" I hugged him, "you?"
He hugged back, "confused."
I looked up at him and nodded. I turned around and saw a flash of Dalton out of the corner of my eye. I raised my hand to wave but then I heard Isaac mutter, "holy shit."
I looked up at him in question and went to stand where he was and looked. What I saw was shocking, to say the least. Dalton has Nic pressed up against the wall, kissing him as passionately as the 15 seconds would allow. Isaac and I looked at eachother with out mouthes open and eyes in shock and question. He grabbed my and and we quickly hurried away, smiling. We couldnt believe it! Though now that I thought about it, it made sense. Isaac stopped me and pulled me into an empty hallway.
"Before we go to lunch...I want to say I'm sorry...about Friday."
"Why?" I asked, "I'm not."
"Oh...you're no--"
I cut him off by pressing my mouth to his, wrapping my arms around his neck. Thank God everyone was at lunch.
"No...I'm not."
Isaac smiled, "good."
